Spanish for “The Crazy Chicken,” El Pollo Loco grew out of Sinaloa, Mexico, to dominate United States market for Mexican-style grilled chicken. Now operating separately from its Mexican counterpart, El Pollo Loco in the United States boasts over 400 locations concentrated primarily in the southern and western regions. Aside from chicken, it also serves traditional Mexican fare such as tacos, burritos and enchiladas.
